CoCoSi: Committee Against AIDS in El Salvador
Posted May 28th, 2008 by staff
CoCoSI youth, born in the Mesa Grande refugee camp of Honduras, returned to Santa Marta, Cabas, El Salvador in 1987 to repopulate the land where their parents were born. These young people grew up during the Salvadoran civil war and have struggled hard for their education and their own health rights. They are committed to working with the poor and preventing the spread of AIDS in rural and remote communities in El Salvador and Honduras.
